The 2026 Weekend Workshop (WEWS) Programme: The next WEWS will be held Melville - the Competition Item is a Thin Walled Vasel.
Club Events:
Pinjarra Festival Mandurah Woodturners will be at the Pinjarra Festival 30th and 31st of May - This includes Woodturning Demonstrations by our members and also a display of items produced by the members as well as items for sale to the public.
Perth Craft Alive will run from 30th July through 2nd August 2026. This doubles as the Open Competition for Members of Woodturners Association of Western Australia with entries in all grades. Entries across each of the grades in both Artistic and Plain Turning. Demonstrations will be held during the event as well as items for sale.
Novice Courses
Novice Course 1/26 commenced completed May 2026 with four successful Novices.

Workshops
Want to enhance your expertise and take your items to the next level?
The Mandurah Woodturners are introducing workshops to enhance skills in embellishment.
It all begins with an idea. Maybe you want to add to your woodturned item be it a Bowl or a Platter a Vase or a Box. Embellishing your item can provide the “Wow” factor!

Alternately you can join the Embellishers Sub Group which convenes at the Wandi Community Hall every Friday mornings
